Compare salaries, taxes, cost of living and quality of life across countries using transparent research and trusted data.
Global Salary Atlas is not a crowdsourced guessing tool. Every salary, tax and cost-of-living figure is compiled from government labour statistics, national tax authorities, multilateral economic research and established compensation surveys.
Figures are reviewed on a fixed schedule, cross-checked against multiple sources where available, and clearly dated — so you always know how current the numbers are before you rely on them.

Enter the salary in the country's local currency. The USD equivalent is calculated automatically from the live exchange rate and updates whenever that rate changes.
| Country | Profession | Local Salary | USD Equivalent | Tax | Updated |

Exchange rate is quoted as "1 USD = X local currency" — e.g. Saudi Riyal rate 3.75 means 1 USD = 3.75 SAR. Updating a rate here instantly recalculates every USD figure across the whole site for that currency.

MonthlySalary is the amount in local currency (e.g. 15000 SAR) — USD is calculated automatically from the live exchange rate, never entered directly.
Missing countries, professions, and currencies are all created automatically (new currencies start at a placeholder 1:1 rate — set the real rate afterward in Exchange Rates). Existing Country + Profession pairs are updated; new pairs are added.
