How we maintain independence, accuracy, and accountability across everything we publish.
We aim for every figure published on Global Salary Atlas to be as accurate as its underlying source allows. Accuracy is treated as a process, not a one-time claim: figures are sourced from documented categories (see Data Sources), reviewed by a human before publication, and revisited on a fixed schedule rather than published once and left unchecked.
Before publication, a figure is checked against its source category and, where a second source is available, cross-checked for consistency. Research and blog content follows the same standard: claims are expected to trace back to a verifiable source before they're published.
Global Salary Atlas's data and research are not for sale. Countries, professions, and figures are never included, excluded, ranked, or altered in exchange for payment, sponsorship, or partnership. Advertising, where present, is kept separate from editorial content and never influences a published figure.
We prioritize primary sources — government labour statistics, national tax authorities, and multilateral economic research — over aggregated or unverified figures. Where independent compensation surveys are used, we favor established, non-sponsored providers. Full detail is on our Data Sources page.
Country and profession data is revisited on a fixed schedule, and each entry reflects the date it was last reviewed. Figures are not auto-generated and published without review — see the Verification Process section of our Methodology for the full update workflow.
If a reader identifies an inaccuracy, we review the claim against our sources and, where warranted, issue a correction at the next update cycle. Significant corrections are reflected in the "last reviewed" date shown on the relevant page. To report an issue, contact us.
We publish how our figures are calculated (Methodology) and what categories of sources back them (Data Sources), so any figure on the platform can be understood and checked rather than taken on faith.
Authorship is disclosed on every research and blog article published under Featured Research. Authors are responsible for ensuring claims in their own articles are backed by cited, verifiable sources, consistent with this Editorial Policy.
